Save that candle jar!

How much money do you spend on beautiful candles in glass jars, just to throw those jars away? And how much money do you spend on containers to store various items in? Well here are some SUPER easy steps to save your jars!

Step one: Enjoy your candle!

Step two: Pop that baby in the freezer. I'm not sure how long, I usually forget about them until a day or two later.

Step three: Give the wax a few good jabs with a spoon. And it should pop out in a few chunks, but more likely one big piece.

No, the freezer did not magically turn the wax green... If the wax is too thin, it doesn't really work. This is my replacement

Step four: Wash it. It may have a few small scrapings of wax or some soot. I use the dishwasher but a good hot wash in the sink should do the trick.

Step five: Enjoy your jar! I plan on using this jar to store q-tips in the bathroom!
